A struggling family-run inn finds itself to be the center of scientific discovery when a mysterious stranger, wrapped entirely in gauze, comes to stay. The mystery man, Jack Griffin, sets up shop in the family’s parlor room and soon makes young Jim Winters his assistant and confidant. Griffin claims to have been injured in a science experiment, needing time to heal in solitude, but Marge and Jim are suspicious that there is more he isn’t telling them. And there is. Jack Griffin is invisible. And he will stop at nothing to harness the scientific secrets of invisibility – even if it means bringing everyone down with him.
