Synopsis
An old derby hat is the window to the past as Old Moses, a poor old woman, shows three neighborhood children the sights, sounds and people that played an important part of her extraordinary life. The first vision is of a magical Snake Magician who passed through Moses’ town in the summer of 1914. He tells Moses of marvelous and mysterious places of the world, and promises to take her there. When she returns to follow him, she learns that he has already gone. However, the allure of far-off places stayed with Moses and when she describes life, "It's laughing and dancing, being scared and letting go. It was something special and you got to love it, ‘cause it’s all you got."

"The mysteries and fascinations of being young and growing old provides the theme for this beautiful production." -Twin Cities Courier
